about Jelle Smit

Jelle is a 47 year old artist who has worked all around holland and abroad and is now based in Enschede.

In his beautiful workspace, in the woods, he creates his wooden sculptures. His fascination for nature and his creativity perfectly come together in his statues. In all of his work; theatre (www.kalterflug.nl), music (Kalterflug and Krang), paintings and his wooden sculptures he creates his vision on this world that surrounds us.
